MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

“Urban Planning and Research Institute” is the oldest design organization in Mongolia with professional and qualified personnel and has been continuously operating in the field of urban development policies, documents, and designs since 1964.

We are conducting basic urban planning research, conforming to modern international trends while carrying out the main activities of developing urban planning documents, using advanced technology, ensuring public participation, and working in accordance with principles based on scientific research.

In recent years, our institute has carried out many projects for policy documents such as state, capital and local-level development master plans, sectoral master plans, urban planning basic research, feasibility studies, buildings and construction, engineering infrastructure and landscape design.

In the future, we are working to create a unified system for the development of the city based on quality and innovationand paying more attention to the coordination of policy documents in the field of urban development.

In 2022-2023, our organization adopted the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and received certification to improve the quality of our products, standards, and operations.
